I believe it is important for my clients to gain sufficient understanding to successfully maintain their WordPress websites, at least for the non-technical actions that they may want to take, such as updating plugins, adding images, and checking the SEO of their website.

Deploy a new website without hurting the customer’s SEO during maintenance downtime. You want to send HTTP status code 503, Service Unavailable, so search engines don’t reindex the site incorrectly. Don’t send 404, Not Found.
